My name is Sam and I would firstly like to congratulate you on soon becoming a mother and embarking on this exciting & life changing journey. While a registered nurse I gave birth to my wonderful son, aided by a midwife. Her care & positive influence during this time inspired me to want to give other women the same wonderful care she first gave to me; & them to my son. My experience includes working as a midwife at national women's hospital, working with the high risk team, the community midwifery team & the postnatal wards. As a registered nurse I worked at Auckland city hospital in the neurosurgical ward, The special care baby unit and as a district nurse. Working with pregnant mothers is something I am passionate about; and I like to take the time to really get to know each of my clients. I believe in women trusting in their bodies through the process of childbirth; and I work alongside the woman & her family to provide exceptional midwifery care. Safety & partnership are integral components of my practice.
