Welcome to the all new Maternity Matters Website.

We are in service to "help people out!"  We aim to offer midwifery care, which is friendly and professional.

A lot of women find it a daunting process at the beginning of their pregnancy when they are told to find a Lead Maternity Care giver. All you have to do is contact us and we will carefully explain your maternity care choices.

If you then choose a Maternity Matters midwife you will be guided through your pregnancy and birth process with a high standard of midwifery care with referrals to the appropriate specialist service as required.

Services:

• Our service is PROFESSIONAL and FREE - paid for by the Ministry of Health
• We cover West Auckland with rooms in Henderson
• Maternity Matters service has developed out of response to what women have said that they would like to see, so we are continually reshaping and growing in the care service we provide to women
• We each offer a Lead Maternity Care service but there may be some variation in the way we operate our back up cover but we remain available to you 24 hours a day
• We offer hospital births, home births and water births
